About Yasmin

Effath Yasmin is a leading Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist, an award winning International Board Certified Lactation Consultant & a Documentary Film-maker. She is also an International Speaker, an Author and a Bach Flower Practitioner.

Her special interests lie in Infant Oral, Sucking & Airway Dysfunction, Tongue Tie, Birth Trauma, Craniofacial Development and a range of chronic physical and mental dis-eases & quantum energy phenomenon. She applies these sciences into Life Coaching, Inner Child Healing and Parenting. Her approach stems from fundamental truth of human organism is complete and self-regulatory. The treatment & counselling approach is by deep listening & true empathy to mind, body and spirit rather than by intervention. Lactation & Breastfeeding Support

Initial days after you have your baby are intense and sometimes overwhelming. You may have a thousand questions and are looking for some practical guidance to make the right choices to keep the breastfeeding exclusive.

You may be looking for help for correct positioning and latch, manage engorgement, avoid plugged ducts, breast infections such as mastitis and abscess or learn to express milk.  ​Certain concerns such as inability to latch, ineffective latch, slow weight gain, recurrent pain during feeds, prematurely, and returning to work.   

Clinical Lactation

The most significant importance of breastfeeding and lactation is not breast milk alone but the mechanics of breastfeeding that allows for optimal jaw, teeth, airway and speech development as well as overall facial development. ​What wraps it all up is the 'mothering' through breastfeeding for baby's overall well being.

Advanced Lactation

Advanced Lactation pertains to mothers who go through extreme difficult conditions and circumstances which make it hard for them to breastfeed. ​Induced Lactation and relactation support, breastfeeding for adoption, surrogate, premature, twins, Cleft Palate and Tongue and Lip Tie babies are some of the conditions where mother require advance lactation support.

Tongue Tie

A tongue and lip tie is tightness in the normal tissue that attaches the tongue to the floor of the mouth and gums of the baby respectively. This prevents normal range of movements of tongue preventing important functions of the tongue including breastfeeding. It is extremely important for it to be evaluated or treated as early as possible to avoid future problems and more importantly from premature weaning.

Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy

Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy (BCST) is a gentle and profound treatment offered by way of working with the natural physiological life forces of the body and inherent repair mechanisms, to re-establish health and harmony in the system. This is done through gentle, negotiated touch.

New Mothers

BCST can be a great support to pregnant mothers, infants, and young children, beginning from conception, through the pre-natal stage, pregnancy, post-partum, and onwards. BCST can enhance natural bonding, especially when there has been separation between the mother and baby. Babies and mothers are usually treated together, where the baby would be in the mother’s arms and the practitioner will work on both the mother and the baby at the same time.

CERTIFIED LACTATION CARE  COUNSELOR (CLCC) Training Program

Online, Face to Face and Clinical Lactation Education.

The International Institute of Human Lactation Inc. - Health e-Learning® and Nourish & Nurture Academy and Center of Excellence offers a Lactation Care Counselor Training Program, combining both online and face to face courses as well as clinical experience and evaluation. This program gives the student an opportunity to take courses online via Health e-Learning.com (with tutor access) 24/7 for a total period of 12 months and attend other courses at a designated time face to face with a teacher via Nourish and Nurture Academy and Center of Excellence as well as clinical practice experience. Upon completing the program, the student will be evaluated through an exam and by testing clinical competencies.
